Want a steel fire-breathing dragon? Hire a master metal sculptor!

When you hire a master metal sculptor, you are doing more than building a relationship and bringing your artistic vision to life. You might also be commissioning a steel fire-breathing dragon!

Some people don’t believe that fire-breathing dragons are real, but they are – if you work with a metal artist who can bring your vision to life and “birth” one for your backyard.

As a master metal sculptor, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with a few clients who requested a steel fire-breathing dragon. And I’m always happy to work on these types of projects for a few reasons. One, they are fun. Two, they are beautiful and three, they are uniquely yours and will bring amazement and enjoyment for generations.

We recently installed a steel fire-breathing dragon for a client. Perched on a wall of boulders overlooking a serene waterway, this amazing creature is 12 foot tall and 22 foot long – and 10 foot wide. It was crafted out of Corten steel and will gradually turn into a bright red rust patina as time goes by.

Because no dragon is worth its weight in steel unless it breathes fire, this beauty does just that – and its eyes glow thanks to the use of solar lights.

This amazing, custom-crafted piece was not easy to fabricate and install, but as a master metal sculptor (and welder) I was up to the challenge and I’m grateful for the partnership with a client who came to me with the vision and entrusted me with the work.

This piece took seven months – from the first meeting with the client to discuss their vision and dream to the design work, fabrication and installation.

Not everyone can have a steel fire-breathing dragon for a pet but believe me – almost everyone wants one.
